2-Unit InsideTheBox Conversion in Shaw

Our client for this project grew up in this family home that had originally been her grandmother’s house. Since 1957, dozens of family members had lived here, and now, approaching retirement, our client wanted to convert the building into rental income. This InsideTheBox project maintained the exterior walls and roof of the original home, but replaced everything else. New City handled it all, from financing to design and from permitting to construction. The client was able to choose her finish selections, and then sit back and watch as everything came together. In the end, she now owns two valuable rental units, a 4-bedroom duplex and a 2-bedroom flat, that provide substantial passive income — and the house stays in the family for generations to come.
