Rear Addition & Remodel in Takoma Park
These first-time homeowners purchased a historic bungalow in Takoma Park that was in desperate need of repair and expansion. This complete renovation and rear addition restored the original exterior appearance, which had been hidden over the years. Inside the home, new space was added, and the existing spaces were reorganized to create a modern open kitchen and dining space, a new sunroom, and 3 bedrooms, including a new master bedroom and bath. At the rear, a basement family room was created, and the house was integrated into the treed rear landscape with a beautiful, new deck.
